Our point of view directs our life. It influences our thoughts, feelings, attitudes and actions. When we shift our point of view, our perception changes and so do our lives. We are able to move in an entirely different direction. Where is your point of view taking you? Does it serve your ultimate intention?
As we grow older, if we are not careful we can lose our way to what is special and meaningful in our lives. It is our childhood dreams that have a way of pointing us in the right direction. Many of us have lost our way. Just as children in a storybook may need to leave a trail to find their way back home, we too need a way to retrieve the dynamic parts of ourselves.
It is easy to forget that our greatest point of power is in the present moment. When life feels overwhelming and it seems like we can never catch up, it is imperative that we bring ourselves back to the here and now. It is in this very moment, right now, that we have access to our greatest power and our ultimate potential.
Have you ever felt a vague sense of unease? Your heart begins to feel heavy and anxious. You can sense that you are being moved off your center into an unsafe place. Sometimes our fears are big and loud and sometimes they hide just below our awareness. It can feel as if there is a tunnel of water moving quietly beneath the surface. This type of feeling is unsettling as though we are a child about to get in trouble. We may not be able to put our finger on what the fear actually is but it surrounds us as a free floating anxiety. It zaps our energy and can make us feel week and frightened. These hidden fears are hot spots in our psyche. What can we do when this occurs? How do we remove them from our memory and heal the wound?
