Where Is Your Point Of View Taking You? (Article)

Our point of view directs our life.  It influences our thoughts, feelings, attitudes and actions.  When we shift our point of view, our perception changes and so do our lives.  We are able to move in an entirely different direction.  Where is your point of view taking you?  Does it serve your ultimate intention?

How To Make The Perfect Wish (Article)

Have you ever noticed how much stress can occur when you have a chance to make a wish?  Anyone who has ever heard the story of Aladdin, the genie and the three wishes is familiar with the struggle of choosing the perfect wish.  Who would think that this wonderful opportunity could instigate such a flurry of considerations?  If you are a "good person," and many of us are or want to be, then how can we have a personal wish without first making sure that we bless the world, our families and our friends.  Deep inside of us we know a wish isn't worth a darn thing if we don't have good health, love and happiness.  So what do we do when we have the opportunity to form a personal wish and send it out into the universe?  Is it appropriate?  Is it selfish?  Is it right?

Acceptance Removes Obstacles (Article)

Acceptance is a tricky quality to master.  Most people mistake acceptance for agreement and therefore resist it.  Acceptance does not mean that we give in or roll over.  It means we connect fully with the situation.  We stop struggling.  We own the hand that we have been dealt and accept it without judgment.  Once we do this a very interesting thing occurs, our life and the situation changes.

Are You Stuck In The Middle? (Article)

When I was little, there were times when I really liked being in the middle, especially on a sled where I felt safer than being in the front or in the back.  I enjoyed sitting in the middle of two friends at a movie.  Many of us liked being in the middle of a crowd at school where it was easier to fit in and not get picked on or noticed if you were doing something wrong.  But then there were games like "Monkey in the Middle" where you are in the middle and you had to try and catch the ball.  This was a game that was not always fun.  Or you were stuck in the middle of the backseat of a family car between two of your older siblings, with no window space feeling nauseous and sick to your stomach.  This is when you began to understand that yelling shotgun before getting into a car gained a coveted position, that the middle was not always the best real estate.

Identifying Your Energy Patterns (Article)

When we do something repeatedly in life, an energy pattern is created.  Similar to a groove on a dirt road, the more often we travel a particular pathway, the deeper the groove becomes.  These grooves can become so deep that if we are not attentive, we will slide right back into the same familiar pattern.  Creating a new path demands tremendous attention and focus.
