There is something about the call of September that shouts, “Snap to it.” Similar to early morning Reveille that one hears in the army, the sound is loud and unmerciful. It says wake up and get the show on the road. After a summer full of fun and sun, going back to our lives can feel like we are being dragged out of our beds. How do we get ourselves back on track and return to our lives with enthusiasm and renewed vigor?

In life each of us has our own personal relationship with gratitude.  Just as we do to love, food, money, sex...  It is our relationship to these aspects of life that help create and define our own personal story. We don't always contemplate our life from this perspective.  Often our perception of relationships are limited to our experience with people. When people are involved the issues can become clouded.  It is our relationship to the qualities themselves that give us the power to influence and rewrite our story every day.
