There is something about the call of September that shouts, “Snap to it.” Similar to early morning Reveille that one hears in the army, the sound is loud and unmerciful. It says wake up and get the show on the road. After a summer full of fun and sun, going back to our lives can feel like we are being dragged out of our beds. How do we get ourselves back on track and return to our lives with enthusiasm and renewed vigor?

 Everyday we have the opportunity to embrace a new beginning, a chance to make a fresh start, to do something wonderful and exciting.  Many of us however look at these moments with caution, fear or uncertainty.  What is it about a new beginning that often causes us to pause and stop in our tracks?
