People are far more intuitive than many of us think. We are constantly picking up clues and information from others whether we realize it or not. Some people telegraph their thoughts and objectives so loudly it is as though they were wearing a large sticky note pasted to the front of their body. Now this is not an issue if you are relaying that which you would like to send to others. However, it can be very problematic when the messages you are sending out are counter-productive to your goals and intentions.

Listening is a subtle art and a powerful tool. It is a rare and auspicious quality that is difficult to master. Listening invites insight and intuition. It is not passive. It is active consciousness.  

When we decide to listen we become immediately calmer. Our focus shifts as we put our attention on the other person. We are no longer self conscious. We become free.
